I sat down this morning with high motivation and grand intentions... both of which were somewhat dampened by the sight of the desk buried somewhere under the past week's wreckage:
- broken toy waiting superglue
- two cameras waiting batteries
- sticky tape dispensers waiting sticky tape
- open diary (my attempt to feel organised)
- pile of receipts waiting to be filed
- two Wii controllers also waiting batteries
- school newsletters and fundraising catalogues
- paper samples to remind me to call and order stock (the only thing that's now done!)
- purse waiting clean-out of more receipts
- packing supplies
- photoshop for dummies book so i can actually learn this program rather than just get by
- a few kid's paintings
- hair clips and a sparkly wand
- and of course miscellaneous bills and paperwork.
So clearly there will be no pretty pictures of crafty works in progress or lovely sewn things today...
