We're preparing for an 8 hour car trip on christmas eve... loaded to the gills with kids, snacks, movies, the dog, iPods, books and a whole lot of patience. In my experience, playing eye-spy and car-type games is only good for a certain amount of time before ones brain turns to mush. Yes, i'm happy to be one of 'those parents' who allows the children to plug themselves into a movie or two. It's a long trip.
